Siesta Key attracts visitors from across the globe due to its laid-back vibe and natural beauty. Its eight miles of beautiful coastline boasts three spectacular beaches. Nature lovers frequent Turtle Beach for its large dunes, loggerhead sea turtles and other coastal wildlife, while Crescent Beach and Siesta Beach are famously known for their 99% pure quartz sand that is cool to the touch even on the hottest of summer days. Combined with its warm turquoise waters and glorious sunsets, it is no surprise Siesta Beach was ranked the #1 Beach in the U.S. by TripAdvisor in 2020.
Siesta Village is located just steps away from Siesta Beach. The Village offers a vacation atmosphere with a mix of gourmet restaurants, ice cream shops, pizza parlors, tiki bars and live music. Getting there from anywhere on Siesta Key is easy as many people explore Siesta Key by bicycle, scooter or golf cart. There are also convenient trolleys, buses and private shuttles to help move everyone along. Siesta Key also offers a wide variety of recreational activity including fishing, surfing, parasailing, kayaking and beach volleyball.
There are two bridges connecting this barrier island to mainland Sarasota. The Bay Island neighborhood, just over the North Bridge, is one of Sarasota’s most prominent neighborhoods and features many luxurious homes with waterfront and downtown Sarasota skyline views. The South Bridge offers convenient access to the nearby Point of Rocks neighborhood which includes some of Siesta Key’s most luxurious Gulf of Mexico waterfront homes, and a dedicated area of fun bars and restaurants.

Family Friendly:
Take the kids to Turtle Beach to enjoy some of the area’s most unique seashells, and end the day with a Family Fun Run at Siesta Beach right before sunset.
Recreation/ Culture:
Make sure to visit during the International Siesta Key Master Sand Sculpture Contest; or, if your travel plans are not a fit, join the weekly Siesta Key Drum Circle every Sunday night on Siesta Beach.
Favorite Restaurants:
Summer House and Café Gabbiano are two of the top choices for fine dining in an otherwise more laid-back Village scene. On the south side of the island, Captain Curt’s offers a beachy vibe complete with fried seafood and a lively tiki bar.
